Today Is The Day!

"This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." ~ Psalm 118:24

Just a reminder - No matter what life's ups and downs may bring, each day is another opportunity for a blessing in your life. So, don't let a setback stop you from pursuing your goal. Don't let yesterday's setback keep you from today's manifestation. Elevate, move forward, and enjoy each day for the gift that it is.

This Is The Day...

"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." ~ Psalm 118:24

Today just so happens to be my 9,855th day on earth.

It also just so happens to be my birthday!

It's amazing - growing up, I could never see myself past the age of 18; and now, here I am at 27.

Yet, despite everything I've accomplished in life so far, I really don't deserve any of the 9,855 days I've lived.

See, I've struggled, messed up, sinned against God, disappointed those close to me, and mistreated friends. But God's grace is amazing! He keeps on giving me second, third, and 9,855th chances.

So, today, on my 27th birthday, please do me this one favor. Appreciate the days that God gives you. Live each one of them like it's your last. I know that's what I'll be doing today.

Past, Present, and Future

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." ~ Matthew 6:34

Some people get so hung up on the past - past hang-ups, past failures, past relationships - that they forget about the future and the hope that it brings.

Others, like me, focus so much on the future that they forget the past and how the Lord has brought them over.

The key is to find the proper balance - that is, to live in the present.

Yesterday is gone and tomorrow's not promised, so make the most of every day!

Each day is a new opportunity to get it right, to become a better person, to change directions, to accomplish your destiny.

Little Things

Sometimes, we pay so much attention to the big things that God does for us or is about to do for us that we miss some of the small things He does everyday… like making the sun rise every morning or the stars to shine at night… or something as simple as waking up in the morning or allowing your car to start everyday.

Today, take some time to appreciate the little things in life.

Enjoy the day for what it is.

Be thankful that God has blessed you with life, health, strength, or any combination of the three.

Just being alive, being able to breathe, sing, walk, or run is a blessing in and of itself.
