A Man's Gift

"A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." ~ Proverbs 18:16

Despite the millions and millions of dollars that some people have, God has given His people something worth much more. Our gifts have the ability to open doors for us that no man can close and close doors that no man can open (Isaiah 22:22). So do not be discouraged by what you see around you, or the lack thereof. God has already given you everything you need to do what He's called you to do. All you have to do is walk in it.

God bless,
J.W.

The Greatest Gift

The greatest man in history had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. Had no army, yet kings feared Him. Won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. Committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. Buried in a tomb, yet He rose.

This Christmas, let us not forget the reason why we celebrate. We celebrate because God gave us the greatest gift He could ever give - Himself!

Have a wonderfully blessed Christmas!

God bless,
J.W.

Beautiful Day

“This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” ~ Psalm 118:24

Each day, God gives you a gift.

The gift of a new day.

Each day is a new opportunity to get it right, to become a better person, to change directions, to accomplish your destiny.

Don’t miss out on that opportunity. Don’t take that gift for granted.

God bless,

J.W.

Jesus Walks (Part IV)

Today, some 2009 years ago, Jesus sat with His disciples at what’s now called the Last Supper and asked them to remember Him.

Instead, what he got was betrayal, denial, and abandonment.

But still Jesus chose to forgive, and as a result, His disciples would become the foundation of what the Christian church is today. It is become of them that we celebrate this week of Passion.

It just goes to show that Jesus offers the gift of forgiveness to any and every one, no matter how big or small the sin.

Have you accepted His gift today?

God bless,
J.W.

“To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.” ~ Daniel 9:9
