God's YouTube
So, I found this new website today. Well, it’s new to me. It may not be so new to you... But it’s called GodTube.com. It's not a very creative name, but it’s seems cool, none the less.Anyway, it’s pretty much like YouTube, but with a religious twist. People post all types of videos, spoken word pieces, songs, sermons, scripture readings, bible studies. Just thought you might be interested.

Peace,
J.W.
P.S. Below is a sample of the type of content they have. The first spoken word piece is called “The Woman at the Well,” performed by Erin Moon. The second is called “Allow Me To Reintroduce the Christ” by performed by actress Blair Wingo. Both of these are really good, so check them out.

Closed Doors
Today, I received an e-mail from my aunt entitled "Thank God for Closed Doors." Ironically, this has been something that has been on my mind and heart for a few weeks now, so I thought this was the most appropriate time to share. Many times in life, we, as flawed human beings, like to blame our so-called "failures" on many different things. Sometimes, as Christians, we blame Satan. Other times, we blame other people for our problems. In the black community, we often blame the government, the media, or white people in general for our issues. And while sometimes, our gripes are valid, most times they stem from either a lack of personal responsibility or a lack of proper perspective.
The truth of the matter is that if we were to accurately identify the causes of our so-called failures, we would recognize that they really aren't failures at all. The loss of a job, failure of a business, a wayward son or daughter, and any other negative in our lives can sometimes be a blessing in disguise.
As long as you're still alive and breathing, there is always a chance, an opportunity, to turn your negatives into positives, and your failures into successes. Most times, when we face adversity, we are quick to blame our circumstances on something other than ourselves.
We all have problems, and we all have issues that we deal with, but the thing that separates winners from losers in life is how they react to the trials and tribulations they face.
Mistakes, failures, trials, and tribulations are nothing more than veiled opportunities, opportunities to learn, to grow, and to become better. Sometimes, when it seems like doors are closing in your life, it is God's way of telling you to take a different route, to change your direction, that the way you are heading is not the way that He wants you to go. But so often, we look at negative situations in our lives as signs of failure rather than signs of opportunity, and that is the wrong perspective to have.
Recently, I had a door close in my life. It was totally unexpected. I didn't know why it closed. I didn't know what I was supposed to do next. But through it all, I knew that God had something better planned for me. And indeed, He did. My closed door was simply God's way of telling me that my time was over there and that it was time to move on and move forward.
So when the deck seems stacked against you, your back is to the wall, and it seems like a door is closing in your life, don't take it as a negative. Don't have a pity party and have a "woe-is-me" type of attitude. Rather, take that closed door as a sign that God has something better in store for you, that it is time to change directions and change perspective, and truly see what He is trying to do in your life.
Learn from your mistakes, use them to grow, and keep moving forward. "[For] we know that all things work together for the good of those who love [God], who have been called according to His purpose." ~ Romans 8:28
God bless,
J.W.

God Whispers
God Whispersby David Langerfeld
Jan 21, 2008
Not long ago I heard a story about a young man and an old preacher. The young man had lost his job and didn't know which way to turn. So he went to see the old preacher.
Pacing about the preacher's study, the young man ranted about his problem. Finally he clenched his fist and shouted, "I've begged God to say something to help me. Tell me, Preacher, why doesn't God answer?"
The old preacher, who sat across the room, spoke something in reply - something so hushed it was indistinguishable. The young man stepped across the room. "What did you say?" he asked.
The preacher repeated himself, but again in a tone as soft as a whisper. So the young man moved closer until he was leaning on the preacher's chair. "Sorry," he said. "I still didn't hear you."
With their heads bent together, the old preacher spoke once more. "God sometimes whispers," he said, "so we will move closer to hear Him." This time the young man heard and he understood.

Just Fine
God bless,
J
Look at the picture above. The driver of the white pickup truck broke through the guardrail to the right (right where the people are standing on the road and pointing. The pick-up was traveling from right to left when it crashed through the guardrail. It flipped end-over-end, across the culvert outlet, and landed right side up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which he was traveling.
If this guy didn't believe in God before, do you suppose he believes now?

The Last Days
So I’ve had this information for a while, but was reluctant to share it because of its serious and somewhat frightening nature. However, after seeing this video clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuBo4E77ZXo) on another website, I decided the time is right. For those who haven’t studied or don’t believe Biblical prophecies about the end times, this information will be tough to understand. However, for those who know about the end time and understand that we are living in the last days, this information will make perfect sense to you.
In the Bible, we are told about a beast (the Antichrist), who will come to the earth, unify the nations, perform miracles, and mimic the spirit and essence of Jesus, the true Messiah. His agenda is to unite all people of the world under one government, one religion, and one currency. To accomplish this goal, Satan uses people in high places to carry out his agenda. That is why in Ephesians 6:12-13, it says, "for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in high places."
What you are about to see is proof that Satan’s agenda is beginning to take shape and that the end is truly near. I bring this information to your attention, not to scare you. I am not some strange conspiracy theorist who hears voices and believes that Elvis and Tupac are still alive. I am, however, a realist, and thanks to my pastor in Baltimore, fairly knowledgeable about the end times.
So, in conclusion, I say to you, be careful who you trust, and be careful who you choose to vote for in this next Presidential election, because there is a force trying to manipulate world events to bring about the birth and culmination of the Antichrist. Some of the people who you think you can trust, i.e. President Bush, Bill and Hilary Clinton, Al Gore, and others), may not be so trustworthy after all.
