God is a God of assignment.
He assigned Adam and Eve to have charge over all creation (Genesis 1:28).
He assigned Noah to build an ark (Genesis 6:14).
He assigned Moses to lead His people out of Egypt (Exodus 3:10).
He assigned Joshua to take them out of the wilderness and
into the promised land (Deuteronomy 31:33).
He assigned the prophets to remind the Israelites of
their covenant with Him.
He assigned Jesus to die on the cross for our sins (Luke 9:22).
And He assigned all of us to go into the world and
preach the Good News (Mark 16:15).
But God doesn’t just assign us to complete tasks. He also assigns
us to people.
The question is, to whom are you assigned?
