I'm Back
"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death." ~ Revelation 1:18
Just when they counted Him out, Jesus rose stronger than ever. As a child of God, you have His DNA, which means that you can too. Remember that the next time someone underestimates you.
Happy Easter!
God bless,
J.W.

I Remember Me
"And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, 'This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.'" ~ Luke 22:19
Today, nearly 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, was crucified for you. Let us never forget.
God bless,
J.W.

Before I Die
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." ~ Isaiah 53:5
Yesterday, I heard two news reports that deeply disturbed me. The first was about a young musician who stabbed himself to death while performing at an artist showcase in Oregon. He died in front of a crowd full of people. The second story was of a 16-year old girl who survived a jump off the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
It’s ironic to me that these two reports came during the week that we celebrate Good Friday and Easter. Just like the young musician, Jesus died in front of a crowd of people. Like the girl in San Francisco, Jesus survived the attempt. The difference, however, is that Jesus willingly sacrificed His life so that we wouldn’t have to.
No matter how bad things get or how hopeless they are, know that you can always face tomorrow with hope, knowing that Jesus loved us enough to sacrifice Himself for us.
God bless,
J.W.

Thinking 'Bout A Perfect Day
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." ~ Romans 8:28
As a perfectionist, I often beat myself up over the mistakes I make. But the fact is that making mistakes is a good thing, as long as we learn from the mistakes we make. After all, God said that ALL things work together for good, not just the good things.
God bless,

Trials and Tribulations
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" ~ Jeremiah 29:11
It may not seem like it at times, but God has great things in store for us. Our trials and tribulations are simply there to teach us how to appreciate the blessings. If we got everything we wanted when we wanted it without any hard work or sacrifice, we would simply take everything for granted and not share His goodness with other people.
So appreciate your trials today. They are engine that powers your progress.
God bless,
J.W.

Preparing for Birth
In awaiting the birth of our new baby, lately, I’ve been asking myself, “what do I need to do to prepare for this blessing?” Stumped, I took it to God.
This was His answer:
“...Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these other things shall be added unto you.” ~ Matthew 6:33
If you’re waiting on God to birth something in your life, I hope this helps you prepare.
God bless,
J.W.
